Group Home Services at Unity Developmental Disabilities Care Center (UDDCC) provide a structured, family-style residential environment for individuals who require 24/7 support, supervision, and skill development. Our group homes are designed to feel like a real home, not an institution—where each individual is valued, respected, and supported in reaching their fullest potential.


UDDCC group homes serve individuals with:


  • Developmental disabilities
     
  • Traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
     
  • Behavioral or emotional challenges
     
  • Youth in foster care needing structured residential support
     

Each home offers a safe, nurturing environment with trained staff available around the clock to provide care, guidance, and meaningful engagement.

Group Home Services include:


  • 24/7 supervision and support
     
  • Daily living skills training
    (hygiene, cooking, cleaning, organization, routines)
     
  • Medication administration and health monitoring
     
  • Behavioral supports using trauma-informed practices
     
  • Transportation to day programs, appointments, school, and community activities
     
  • Structured schedules and therapeutic routines
     
  • Community integration and recreational activities
     
  • Meal planning and nutritious home-cooked meals
     
  • Communication and social skill development
     
  • ISP-driven goal setting and progress documentation
     

UDDCC ensures all Group Home staff receive:

  • Mandt training
     
  • CPR/First Aid certification
     
  • Abuse and neglect prevention training
     
  • Medication administration training
     
  • Emergency preparedness and crisis response training

  • Documentation and ISP goal-tracking training
